Twelfth Annual Tri-State Diversity Conference Features Renowned Author and Novelist

Hebron, Kentucky – Allan G. Johnson, renowned author and novelist, will open A Healthy Perspective on Diversity: Progress, Partnerships, and Possibilities, the 2016 Tri-State Diversity Conference.

The Tri-State Diversity Conference is held annually for educators, health and social services professionals, community outreach leaders, social marketers, employers and supervisors, human resource staff, government managers, and any others wanting to foster greater diversity and cultural understanding within their workplaces and communities. Hosting the conference are The Ohio State University, Purdue University, the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University.

This annual conference provides professional development opportunities to network and link diversity resources into programs, policies, and practices for creating community well-being. There will be more than 15 workshops featuring presenters from a number of states including, California, Michigan, and Georgia as well as the tri-state area of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

A half-day pre-conference workshop will be conducted on Wednesday, February 17, featuring Dr. Tim Findley the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Norton Healthcare. The conference will end with the capnote presented by Steve Couch, Executive Chef of Mr. Eat Right: Personal Chef Service.

The conference will be held, Thursday, February 18, 2016 – Friday, February 19, 2015 at the Marriott, Cincinnati Airport, Hebron, KY.
